I haven’t had much time to write over these last few weeks. There is soooo much that I wanted to write about, but the time commitment required to write just wasn’t available. Mostly because I was following a toddler around like a student zoologist. I was looking at her every move and expression to see if she needed to be put on the potty. However, there is one big, giant accomplishment that we have made today; my youngest and last child is finally potty trained. I want to look up to the heavens and scream, “WE ARE NO LONGER CHANGING DIAPERS!” Myself and the wife have been changing diapers for almost 6 years straight. We are done with that mess, literally.
I will also get to retire my old and faithful diaper bag. This diaper bag has served me well. I converted a camouflage laptop bag into my man bag. That was one of my first problems taking on this job as a stay at home dad, there just weren’t any good and sturdy diaper bags for Dads.
That’s all I have time to write about today. The kids are beginning to swarm me right now. I have a flurry of whining, fingers, and hands all about me and the laptop. Talk you all soon.
One last thing, there are some great rides coming up that I hope to write about soon. Furthermore, I recently signed a contract with a company in the cycling industry in a part-time, work from home position. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this new job. It is a perfect job for me and I can’t wait to start. More on that later.
